Green Digital Action Summit

ACCELERATING THE GREEN TRANSITION THROUGH DIGITAL INNOVATION

The Green Digital Action Summit at GITEX EUROPE, hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the German Environment Agency (UBA), will advance climate action through digital innovation, building on the COP29 Green Digital Action Declaration. The summit will address European and global green technology and policy priorities, including AI, green technical standards, and the circular economy, aiming to shape the future of sustainable technology in preparation for COP30 in Brazil.

The summit is set to catalyze further momentum by shining a spotlight on pressing European and global green technology and policy matters. From the intricacies of AI and the adoption of green technical standards to the principles of a circular economy and the pivotal role of emergency telecommunications, we are set to explore a breadth of topics critical to our collective environmental stewardship.
